Sunday 1/31: Listening station

Easy Street makes good use of old phone booths.

Saturday 1/30: Science

Justin and I were all about the used book shopping this weekend. I liked this display at Inner Chapters.

Friday 1/29: Gimme Shelter

A fun fund raising concert for my work at the Triple Door. I especially liked when Billy Joe lit his trumpet on fire!

Thursday 1/28: Downtown at dusk

I'm so glad the days are getting longer and it's not completely dark outside when I get off work.

Wednesday 1/27: Buck hunter

Tyler playing Buck Hunter at King's.

Tuesday 1/26: White berries

These berries remind me of this great park near my house where I once stayed when I ran away from home for several hours until I got hungry or something. My friends and siblings and I would sometimes throw these berries at each other.

Monday 1/25: City Hall lines

Interesting lines in my reading spot.

Sunday 1/24: Brussels sprouts

My first time eating brussels sprouts!

Saturday 1/23: Graffiti sandwich

Graffiti on the TUBS building.

Friday 1/22: Flower parts

Our kitchen always has flowers from Amanda's hopeful suitors.

Thursday 1/21; Office shenanigans

Sarah, Ian, and I blocked off their pod with boxes of donated lotion! Ha ha!

Wednesday 1/20: Your mom

Pretty sure mine does not.

Tuesday 1/19: Morning light

I was very excited to finally see some light again on my morning walk to the bus stop.

Monday 1/18: Familiar

Yes, you have seen almost this exact photo before. But look, now there's a red cup!

Sunday 1/17: Ivy shadows

Outside the Capitol Hill public library.

Saturday 1/16: Behind

Justin at Dicks. He doesn't know I took this photo (yet). A person asked me if I was in line and if I was going to take a photo of her butt too. I'm getting tired of being the awkward person who takes photos of weird things and makes people uncomfortable.

Friday 1/15: Sad gumbo

You know what's weird? Looking back at last week's photos and realizing that I took one of a cartoon lobster looking distressed that he/she is being boiled alive.

Thursday 1/14: Rain and leaves

Where did these leaves come from? I am ready for spring.

Wednesday 1/13: Inside my lamp

Another one of those nights where I think, ugh, I have to get another photo of something in this room.

Tuesday 1/12: Breakfast for dinner

Mei Li and I cooked up a delicious breakfast feast like the old days.

Monday 1/11: Birds

It was raining and there were lots of birds flocking about.

Wednesday, January 13, 2010

Sunday 1/10: Seattle Tower

So tall.

Saturday 1/9: Delancey in motion

Justify FullOh, Delancey. The blurry woman in this shot reminds me of the Travel + Leisure photos I used to pore over when I was younger and dreaming of the future when I would travel and stay in fancy hotels and eat beautiful food in fancy restaurants. I have the restaurant part checked off my list and hopefully the rest will come soon.

Friday 1/8: Old style sink

I like this sink in the bathroom at The Hideout. It's a very cool but very dark place.

Thursday 1/7: Class rooms

Another one of those I-feel-very-uninspired days. My new french class is to the left.

Wednesday 1/6: Fare Start

Nathan took the IS team out to lunch at Fare Start, which was fun and delicious.

Tuesday 1/5: Twinkle lights on the floor

This place has awesome pizza. Not sure why the twinkle lights are on the floor like this but I think it looks cool.

Monday 1/4: Crazy window

Mei Li and I were in Ballard and we came across this shop we've never noticed before. We'll have to go back sometime when it's open.

Sunday 1/3: Serendipity Department

I'm still not exactly sure where this came from, but I know it has something to do with Mei Li's mom. Anna read me the story on the back and left out a few words, which I tried to guess by the context, but I failed. It was still great fun.

Saturday 1/2: Baby ferns

I love these little ferns growing at my dad's cabin in Monroe.

Friday 1/1: Snuggie monster

Amber got a snuggie for Christmas and this is what happened next.

Thursday 12/31: Paper lantern and dolphins

I tried a new place for lunch and the food was not very good but I liked this dolphin border.

Wednesday 12/30: City hall from above

I finally went to the top of city hall. I like to sit at those little tiny tables in the summer.

Tuesday 12/29: Uwajimaya

I went here to get ingredients for a thai soup and the shopping experience was much more impressive than my dinner.

Monday 12/28: Weird flower shot

Wow, this was a long time ago. These are Amanda's flowers. This was probably one of those days where I didn't get a shot while it was still light outside and I was not feeling creative later.
