Saturday 11/28: On the dock

At Seward Park.

Friday 11/27: Pitas

Justin making pitas for Mei Li's Around the World potluck. They turned out super!

Thursday 11/26: Oscar the grouch

I helped put up the Christmas tree at my parents house on Thanksgiving. This is one of our favorite ornaments, part of the Sesame Street set.

Wednesday 11/25: Piroshky, Piroshky...

So many good memories at this place. I had to stop by after wading through the Pike Place Thanksgiving crowds.

Tuesday 11/24: Grand Central Bakery

One of my favorite lunch time hang out spots. This day was extra special because I got a comfy chair in front of the fire.

Monday 11/23: Ducks! That measure things!

So cute.

Sunday 11/22: Beach house

It's not really on the beach, but it should be. This is one of those houses that make me imagine what it would be like to live there.

Saturday 11/21: Butts

Apparently the people at Mei Li's work smoke a lot.

Friday 11/20: Clubhouse

A fancy clubhouse whose front yard always looks like summer even when it's not.

Thursday 11/19: Droplets

What a contrast from yesterday morning. Since it was so rainy and wet I broke down and used an umbrella, which makes photo-taking in the rain much easier and safer for my camera. So maybe I need to stop being an umbrella-hater.

Wednesday 11/18: Crisp fall morning

What a beautiful fall morning! I started going to a new bus stop which gives me more photo opportunities, such as this colorful tree in front of a cute elementary school. The schools in Seattle are so much cooler-looking than the ones in Marysville.

Tuesday 11/17: Last leaves

There aren't too many leaves left on the trees in my neighborhood so I am trying to get my last fall photos in while I can.

Monday 11/16: Floating flower

I think it looks like this vase is floating over the ground.

Sunday 11/15: Antiques

I really love antique shops. All the displays sorted by color or material or purpose or just pretty things that look nice next to each other - love it.

Saturday 11/14: Glow

A chandelier in Glow that looks way cooler in photo than it does in real life.

Friday 11/13: Tattoo parlor

I wish the tattoo sign would come out better in my photos because I walk past it pretty much every day and it is very cool, but I will just have to settle for this.

Thursday 11/12: Big city library

When I finally visited the Seattle Public Library after driving by and imagining how amazing it must be inside when I was younger, I was a little disappointed. But then I realized it just needs to be viewed in black and white.

Wednesday 11/11: Tuta Bella

This pizza here did not quite live up to the hype on the menu but overall it was still a delicious meal and great company!

Tuesday 11/10: On 3rd light

A burnt out light fixture at Piroshky on 3rd.

Monday 11/9: Do Not Exit ghost

I decided to do a black and white photo week, to mix things up. I think I look like a ghost in this shot.

Sunday 11/8: Two pears

I love these pears. How they look, not how they taste.

Saturday 11/7: Powerlines and field

I love these Walla Walla fields. And the sky just seems bigger on the east side of the state.

Friday 11/6: Crows in the tree

As I was walking home from the coffee shop a bunch of crows flew by and landed in this tree. It was pretty eerie.

Thursday 11/5: Heart leaves

This is on the ground where I wait for the bus on rainy nights after french class.

Wednesday 11/4: Sunset parking

I caught the sunset between buildings on my way to the bus stop.

Tuesday 11/3: Golden tree

Wow, it's been way to long since I posted here. I will try not to let this happen again.

Monday 11/2: Streaks

I was shocked to walk up from the basement at the end of the day and discover it was already dark outside. This is going to make the daily photo-taking more challenging. So I went with the old standby of using a flash on moving cars. Pretty sweet.

Sunday 11/1: My pretty

One of my pretties, which I found in a lamp store with Mei Li a few summers ago and we fell in love with them. I have been in a candle-lighting mood lately.

Saturday 10/31: Garage paintings

Justin spotted these awesome garage paintings on our walk and pointed them out to me since he knew I would want a photo. This also beats Halloween for me.

Friday 10/30: Red ivy on tree

I made a special walk to the best decorated house for a Halloween photo shoot, but then on the way back I saw this awesome poky ivy growing on this tree and the house behind it, and it won the photo of the day contest. Fall beats Halloween for me.

Thursday 10/29: Peeking ghosts

I like the ghosts peeking out of the windows here. There were a lot of festive Halloween-decorated houses in my neighborhood.

Wednesday 10/28: Gourd and squash

I love gourds. I found this guy at Safeway and he is now lined up with my other gourd and mini pumpkins on the porch, but the light was not good enough for a photo out there. So here he is with his cousins, mystery squash.
