I finally tried one of Molly's recipes from her book: buckwheat pancakes, with cinnamon apple syrup from here. SO GOOD.

Saturday 2/6: New camera

I got a Nikon D40! It basically rocks my world. Here I am playing around with focus at my parents' house.

One of the first signs I spotted of an early spring. I love spring.

Thursday 2/4: Lit windows

A partially lit up building downtown. I was already running late for French class so I figured it wouldn't hurt to stop and take a few photos on my way there.

My sister turned 16 on this day! Too bad I did not make it home to get a photo of her cute face instead!

Tuesday 2/2: Valentine sweets

A fun display in Pike Place. I'm not the biggest Valentines Day fan but I do enjoy seasonal decorations and pastries. I especially like the sweet cheeks heart.
