I used to be overwhelmed by this used bookstore in Bellingham, with its piles of books everywhere and its huge and only somewhat organized selection, but now I love it.

Monday 3/1: Cake and ice cream
Amanda had a craving for chocolate cake, so she and Hailey whipped one up from scratch. No way could I say no to that.

I was walking in my neighborhood and found this awesome tree that someone had decorated with metal letters and plastic combs and smiley-face buttons and all kinds of things. I love when people make art in unexpected places.

Wednesday 2/24: Silhouette
I love this plant. Every time I walk past it I at least think about taking a photo of it. I want to dig it up from my neighbors yard and take it with me everywhere I go.

I was sick this day and was not feeling very inspired, but these are my favorite socks and I own about seven pairs of them.

I took a drive and ended up at Lake Union and wished I could live on one of the houseboats out there and this would be my view every night.
Wednesday 2/17: Apples and cheese sandwich
This is one of my favorite sandwiches: grilled cheese with apples and cinnamon and sugar inside. I ate the remaining apple slices with nutella and peanut butter. Yum!
